Lindsey Lewis
has built a career on innovation and transformation, blending a passion for empowering women with a visionary approach to the financial services industry. After earning dual degrees in Personal Financial Planning and an MBA from Utah Valley University, Lindsey co-founded Catalyst, a firm that challenges traditional financial practices by pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. As COO/CSO, she leads the charge in building bold, strategic visions while driving operational excellence—ensuring that Catalyst is not just another financial firm but a movement for change and growth. Lindsey’s ability to "get things done" is matched only by her foresight in shaping the future of finance.

Her leadership extends beyond Catalyst. As the Managing Director and Chair of the American College Center for Women in Financial Services, Lindsey leads groundbreaking research and advocacy initiatives, leading efforts to cultivate a more inclusive and diverse financial sector. Whether co-chairing The College’s Next Gen Advisory Taskforce to attract new talent or hosting high-profile industry events like Women Working in Wealth®, Lindsey has become a catalyst for systemic change, earning accolades like the 2023 Investment News Hot List, 2021 Investment News 40 Under 40, and the Excell Represents Rising Star Woman in Wealth Management Award. Through innovation, advocacy, and leadership, she continues to redefine the role of women in finance.

Why do you do what you do?

Lindsey co-founded Catalyst to challenge the status quo and ignite real progress. She is driven by her belief that financial services should reflect the diversity of the clients they serve and provide opportunities for all. Her work centers around breaking down barriers, fostering inclusivity, and empowering financial professionals to align their practices with their values and aspirations. "I believe that creating space for diverse voices in finance is the key to transforming the industry—and I want to be at the forefront of that change."

What is something fun or interesting about you?

Lindsey’s competitive spirit goes beyond her professional achievements. She earned a silver medal in pole vaulting during her time at Utah Valley University, where she was also vice president of the Western Athletic Conference’s Student Academic Athletic Committee. Now, as a mom of two, she balances her career with yoga and fitness, finding strength and grounding through her daily practices.

Story of an Advisor You Have Helped

Lindsey’s roots in the RIA space give her a unique understanding of the intersection between firm culture and an advisor’s personal values. One of her clients had a very specific niche and desire for independence. After exploring multiple options, Lindsey helped place this advisor at a firm that aligned with their values and long-term goals. This advisor is now thriving and leading the way for new talent, exemplifying the power of a well-matched partnership.
